The 20 most beautiful wedding venues in the Var: couple in front of the sea

In the water

In July 2019, the organization of a wedding on the beach begins, the agency Shades Waves is a specialist in places on the beach to unite.

The young couple have been coming down to Le Lavandou, near the beach at Saint-Clair, in the Var, for many years.

The couple have many memories of meeting on a beach, so it was an obvious choice for them to unite here.

When we first meet the bride and groom, we learn that in a few months they'll be the proud parents of a little girl.
Emotions run high as their granddaughter attends their wedding.

The bride, by virtue of her profession as an architect, already has a precise idea in her head of the decoration and atmosphere she wishes to give to the day.

BOHEMIAN, CHIC AND FRIENDLY!

Our first mission is to introduce them to the most beautiful beaches in the area.
The choice soon fell on C Beach which is located on one of the the most beautiful coves on the Côte d'Azur.
A water shaded with various blues, a abundant Mediterranean vegetationthe only private beach on this cove that makes this place unique.

As the bride and groom are based in Paris, we organize weekend visits and meetings with the various service providers: caterer, photographer, videographer, florist, musicians, town hall, make-up artist, hairdresser...

During a tasting, they opt for dishes to be shared at the center of the table, with grilled gambas and rib of beef accompanied by Provencal vegetables and a succulent truffle gratin.
The convivial side of things will be felt at this dinner.
Traditionally, the starter, main course, cheese and dessert are served by the plate by waiters.

More and more future brides and grooms are asking us for dishes to share, a concept that allows guests to chat more naturally together.

Perfection is in the details!

We start by taking care of the bride's favorite part: the decorations.
Once the mood-board has been created, the florist makes a customized proposal.
They soon agreed on all the wedding services.

Floral decoration is made up of different elements: lots of pampas that blend in perfectly with the beach, eucalyptus-type foliage, colorful flowers, zinc vases, a round arch, a floral arrangement for the town hall and one for the secular ceremony will adorn the Mayor's desk and the ceremony officiant's lectern ... Are you starting to visualize the final look?

Over the following months, everything fell into place.

We still have one essential part to define: D-Day planning!

The bride and groom chose a date in August to celebrate their union.
As you'd expect, it's peak season again for the beaches of the Côte d'Azur.
D-Day planning is up to the minute and totally customized for this wedding.
Installation timing is very tight.
It's a challenge for our team, and we love a challenge!

Like an orchestra conductor, we calculated and parameterized everything down to the smallest detail, so that each service provider would be on time and able to organize himself to deliver the requested service.

Each professional has received a detailed schedule, so everyone is ready for D-Day!

D-DAY APPROACHES...

A blazing sun... 35 degrees, a very pleasant breeze, the preparations can begin.

The bride has been in a separate room from her future husband since the day before.

First step is civil union at Le Lavandou town hall.
The choice of outfit is magnificent and suits her perfectly!
This is an iconic piece from Rime Arodaky collection, la Patsy combination.
The sleeves are covered with hand-embroidered floral details and a tulle train ensures a very elegant look.

While the bride and groom head for the town hall, preparations continue on the beach.
The ceremony takes place...
Wooden benches facing the sea, welcome sign on flowery easel, wooden wall with custom-made initials of the bride and groom, arch facing the sea, rattan armchairs, central aisle decorated with zinc vases and Dame Jeanne embellished with pampas.

The bride and groom chose to incorporate certain rituals of the Jewish religion during their ceremony, such as the glass-breaking ritual.
We advise them to call on a master of ceremonies who has mastered all the rituals, Mr Serge Amoudou of One Day Event.

After their civil union, the bride leaves to prepare for the big moment.
Emotions run high as she puts on her wedding dress, changes her hair and make-up.
Meanwhile, guests gradually arrive on the beach for a refreshing dip in the sand, and settle down on the wooden benches adorned with cushions.
The ceremony aisle leading to the beautifully flowered arch, beneath which are 2 wooden armchairs, is adorned, every other bench with Dame Jeanne vases in which pampas have been placed.
We organize the bridesmaids' and best men's procession so that they are ready to make their entrance before the bride and groom.

The music starts up, the procession takes its place, and everyone takes their places.

It's time for the groom and his mother to make their entrance, and then... we invite guests to look towards the horizon.
In the distance, a boat approaches; the bride has boarded it at the port of Le Lavandou. Another boat, lighter and able to dock on the beach, heads towards them to welcome the bride aboard.
The bride is at the bow of the boat, the sea is calm, and many vacationers are stationed near the ceremony site to watch the bride disembark.
When the boat docks on the fine sand of La Fossette beach, the bride's father comes to greet her, his eyes filled with emotion as he takes her hand and leads her to her future husband.

The emotion is palpable among the guests, the family and also the holidaymakers who stayed to watch an extraordinary show on a beach in August.

The ceremony begins... a number of texts are read by the family and witnesses, recounting the bride and groom's childhood.
The most touching moment was when the bride and groom exchanged their vows, the words strong and full of palpable feelings of love.

At the end of the ceremony, the bride and groom walk down the aisle to the applause of the many guests who have come to witness their union.
